This presentation will provide a comprehensive review of the updates to E&M and Telehealth coding for 2024. This education includes discussion of the time changes for office visits 99202-99205 and 99212-99215, and 99306/99308, new add-on code 99459, guidelines for reporting code G2211, split/share coding, multiple E&M services on the same day, hospital inpatient and observation care services, prolonged services, and telehealth services. Source documents include the 2024 CMS final rule for PFS and CPT 2024.
