This Part 2 presentation will focus on selected key concepts in the ICD-10-CM Official Coding Guidelines for the chapter-specific guidelines (Section I.C). Updates to these guidelines and common coding error trends for some of the specific chapters will be the primary discussion. The importance of coding accuracy will also be discussed. This presentation is based on the ICD-10-CM 2026 Guidelines.
