ICD-10-CM Coding Updates for 2024

This presentation will provide a comprehensive review of the updates to ICD-10-CM for 2024. New chapter-specific guidelines, new codes, and deleted codes will be discussed. Additional information has also been included on the Tabular Addenda Errata released July 26, 2023, on the errors in the 2023 ICD-10-CM guidelines, as well as the updates to the ICD-10-CM Official Guidelines for Reporting for 2024. Learners have been provided guidance on where to locate official CMS resources for the 2024 updates that they can access on their own.
