Integumentary System Coding

This course is designed to teach the basics of integumentary anatomy, in order to be applied to proper diagnosis and procedure code reporting for the integumentary system. This course will discuss common signs, symptoms and diagnoses related to the integumentary system. This course will delve into the nuances of pressure ulcer coding, and different types of wounds. It will guide the student in understanding laceration repairs, lesion removals, debridement and active wound care procedural coding.

Learners can access this course at any time from the day it becomes available. The AAPC CEUs expire after 1 year.
